BODIES: Any domestic built passenger sedan or coupe.
Roof and upper quarter panels must remain O.E.
Quarter panel must retain topmost roll or beltline.
Lower quarters and doors may be fabricated from a minimum
22 gauge steel.
Front fenders can be fabricated from a minimum 22 gauge
steel.
Quarter panels cannot be lengthened.
Body panels must be steel , fiberglass or aluminum and
retain O.E. appearance.
No down force or outlaw type bodies or parts allowed. No
carbon fiber.
EXCEPTION: Fiberglass front hood allowed.
Must have front and rear bumper covers. Must resemble
O.E. part.
Minimum roof height measured at center 10 in. back from
windshield top edge
not to be less than 48 in. and can drop no more than 2
in. to the edge in any
direction.
No airflow control devises of any kind.
EXCEPTION: A rear spoiler no larger than 5 in. x
60 in. and no higher than 38 in.
from the ground may be used. No side boxing, must be
attached directly to
deck lid and cannot extend past bumper cover.
CHASSIS: Chassis may be reinforced.
Full frame cars may be shortened to a
minimum 108" in. wheel base.
Unibodies may be tied together above the floor.
Left half of firewall and floor must remain.
Leaf cars must retain O.E. frame section from the front
leaf spring mounting eye
to the center of rear axle housing. Commonly called the
"dogleg".
No under slung rear clips.
Front and rear clip style must match. I.E. Second
generation Camaro front clip
must have leaf spring rear.
Lower control arms must be O.E. for clip used.
Tubular upper control arms allowed.
Adjustable ball joints may be used in the upper control
arms only.
Any O.E. spindle from within the manufacturers line
allowed.
Steering components must remain stock.
EXCEPTION: Heim type outer tie rods allowed.
Any one piece sway bar up to 1 3/8 in. diameter mounted
in O.E. location
allowed.
Springs must be similar to O.E. and mounted in O.E.
position.
No jacking bolts.
Any leaf spring.
Rear of leaf mounting can be either shackles or sliders.
PROShock SS series only. Steel body, stock mount,
non-adjustable, sealed with absolutely no modifications.

Coil cars may convert to 3 point design in rear. Panhard
bar must be mounted
behind rear axle housing. No "J" bars
4 wheel brakes in good condition required.
Rear disc conversion allowed.
All brake components must be O.E. style made of magnetic
material.
EXCEPTION: Aftermarket pedals and master cylinder
allowed.
Wheel base must be stock for chassis used +/- 1 in.
Maximum track width 66 1/2 in.
Minimum ground clearance 4 in.
WEIGHT: Leaf cars ... 3000 lbs. ... 56% left maximum.
Coil cars ... 2950 lbs. ... 56% left.
Tied under floorboard ... add 50 lbs.
Excessive tubing ... add 50 lbs.
Fiberglass or aluminum body ... add 100 lbs.
G.M. sealed crate engine #602 ... deduct 100 lbs.
WHEELS: Maximum 8 in. wide steel.
5/8 wheel studs and 1 in. lug nuts required.
Up to 1/2 in. wheel spacers allowed.
TIRES: American Racer 225 and 235 - 70 x 15 treaded
705 compound.
Tires must be purchased from an authorized sales person.
Once the tires leave the sales area absolutely no
returns.
TRANSMISSION:
3 or 4 speed manual or automatic with functioning torque
converter.
Transmission must be same brand as engine.
High gear to be 1:1 no other forward gear allowed between
1.23: 1 and 1:1.
No straight cut gears except reverse.
All gears must be functional and O.E. for transmission
used.
NO AFTERMARKET TRANSMISSIONS OR COMPONENTS.
CLUTCH: Stock type clutch assembly only.
Minimum flywheel weight 15 lbs. must be magnetic.
No aluminum flywheel or clutch components.
Must have 1 in. inspection hole in bell housing.
Aftermarket pedal and master cylinder allowed.
REAR AXLE: Passenger car type housing only.
9 in. Ford allowed.
Floating hubs allowed.
Must be in O.E. location.
Maximum gear ratio 5.57:1
May be locked by welding or mini spool.
No full spools or aluminum components.
No cambered tubes. Tubes must be steel.
Steel axles only . No gundrilling.
No cushioned drive plates.
ENGINE: G.M. 350, Ford 351W, or Chrysler 360.
No G.M. Performance, Ford SVO, or MOPAR Performance parts
allowed.

Crank shaft must retain stock stroke, no lightening of
any kind except as needed
to balance.
NO STROKERS.
Maximum valve size 1.94 intake, 1.6 exhaust.
No porting or polishing.
Solid or hydraulic flat tappet camshaft.

Cam must be chain driven.
Screw in studs and guide plates allowed.
Stock ratio (1.5) roller rockers allowed.
O.E. type ignition required. Aftermarket module and coil
allowed.
FUEL SYSTEM: Holley carburetor list # 4412 only.
Must retain unmodified Holley castings.
Must meet all gauge dimensions.
No modifications to air bleeds.
Normal tuning changes allowed.
Spacer up to 1 in. thick allowed. Cannot be tapered.
Mechanical fuel pump in stock location only.
Fuel lines must be steel and routed outside of drivers
compartment.
Edelbrock intake #2101, and 2104 allowed for G.M., #2181
for Ford, and 2176
for Chrysler.
EXHAUST: O.E. cast or tubing manifolds.
Under chassis headers allowed. Maximum primary tube 1 5/8
in. diameter,
maximum collector 3 in. diameter.
No merge type collectors allowed.
No coatings inside or outside except paint.
UNALTERED RACING MUFFLERS REQUIRED.
Exhaust must end under car and be turned down.
COOLING SYSTEM: Any radiator that fits under
unaltered hood allowed.
Engine driven fans must be steel and unaltered.
Electric fans allowed.
NO ANTIFREEZE.
Cooling additive allowed.
