RULES
ELIGIBILITY:
Any import or domestic 4 cylinder
non-turbocharged
passenger sedan or coupe.
BODY:
Unaltered O.E. roof, quarter panels,
firewall, and floor pan.
Aftermarket front and rear bumper covers
allowed but must be stock appearing
and offer no aerodynamic advantage.
Windshield and rear window (optional)
must be a minimum 1/8 in. lexan
Front windshield braces required.
No side windows
Rear spoiler allowed. Maximum size 5 in.
x 58 in. mounted directly to deck lid.
CHASSIS:
NO TUBE CHASSIS ALLOWED.
Frame forward of front strut tower and
rearward of rear shock /strut tower may be
replaced
with a minimum of 2 x 2 x
1/8 in. steel tubing.
Shock and strut towers must remain in
original position
Fuel cell height minimum 12 inches and
centered between frame rails.
Front camber maximum 2 inches right, 1
inch left
No rear camber or toe allowed
SUSPENSION:
O.E. type suspension only.
Any spring that matches outside diameter
of original allowed
No adjustable components on springs or
shocks
Shocks and struts must be commonly
available parts store items.
No custom or otherwise "racing" shocks
and struts allowed.
No bump stops
Stock type sway bars may be made
adjustable
O.E.
type control arms only
Racing wheels allowed up to a maximum of
7 inches wide with any backspacing
Maximum tread width 74 inches
Minimum ride height 4 inches with
driver post race

No rotary engines
Aftermarket pistons allowed. No part
of the piston may extend above the block
deck surface. Maximum overbore .040 in.
No lightening of crankshaft or
connecting rods
Wet sump oiling only

Adjustable cam sprocket allowed
Absolutely no port modifications

Carburetor adapters must be aluminum
a maximum of 1 1/2 in. thick. No
tapered
bores.
Underdrive pulleys allowed
DRIVETRAIN:
Locked or open differential only. No clutch
type or otherwise traction enhancing
differentials allowed
O.E. type clutch required
Flywheels may be lightened by
resurfacing front and back only. NO RADIAL
HOLES. No aluminum flywheels or
clutch components.
All transmission gears must be
functional and unaltered
A shield made of a minimum of 3/16
in. steel must be attached securely to the
engine and transmission for the
purpose of deflecting or containing a failed
clutch
or flywheel.
FUEL SYSTEM:
Steel fuel lines only and must be routed
outside drivers compartment
If equipped with an electric fuel
pump it must be wired with a dedicated
circuit, fused, with a toggle switch clearly
marked "FUEL PUMP ON" and "FUEL PUMP OFF" or
a clearly marked master disconnect switch. A
low oil pressure cut-off switch is
mandatory.
